Box-Build Assembly

Cable harness + PCB + enclosure integration with in-house burn-in fixtures. IPC/WHMA workmanship standards applied.

Box-build assembly covers cable harness integration, PCB mounting, enclosure close-out, and functional test under one work-order tree. Burn-in fixtures are designed and built in-house — no third-party fixture lead times delaying NPI gate 3 when the enclosure drawing finally freezes.

Workmanship follows IPC-A-610 for board-level assembly and IPC/WHMA-A-620 for cable work. Fixture ownership transfers to the customer on contract so the next plant or CM is not held hostage by a leased bed-of-nails arrangement.

  • Integration: PCB mount, cable harness routing, enclosure close-out, labeling per destination market
  • Test: functional test per customer spec; burn-in profiles matched to field environment, not a generic hot soak
  • Fixtures: designed in-house; ownership transferred on final payment
  • Standards: IPC-A-610 Class II default, Class III on contract; IPC/WHMA-A-620 for harness cells
  • Docs: traveler, serial map, and burn-in log ship with the lot pack
