Insert Molding Bracket

Insert molding programs combine brass or steel inserts with engineering resins in a single cycle. SecondGate maintains an in-house tooling bay with automated insert loading stations — no third-party fixture handoffs that drift tolerances between batches.

• Insert types: threaded brass, stainless bushings, stamped steel brackets
• Resin: PA66-GF30 for structural, PBT-GF20 for electrical enclosures
• Insert preheat station on press to reduce thermal shock on the plastic melt front
• CMM spot checks on insert position and overmold thickness — reports travel with the FAI pack
• Pull-test data included for critical load-bearing inserts
